Assertive Counsel for Business & Real Estate Law Matters
Kevin Kavanaugh
Attorney at Law
I earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. While in college, I studied as a Chick Evans Scholar, a four-year full tuition and housing scholarship, and earned Dean's List distinction multiple times. I earned my Juris Doctor degree from The University of Illinois at Chicago School of Law. While in law school, I studied as a Dean's Scholar and completed a Judicial Externship with the Honorable Edward R. Burr of the Circuit Court of Cook County.
I am an active member of both the Michigan and Illinois State Bars. I am admitted to practice in all Michigan Courts including the Eastern and Western Federal District Courts and the Eastern and Western Federal Bankruptcy Courts. I began my legal career with a law firm in Troy, Michigan, focusing on surety and construction law matters. I later worked for a mid-size construction and commercial litigation firm in Detroit before starting my own firm in 2008.
I have volunteered as a judge for moot court and mock trial classes for local law schools and area competitions, providing guidance and instruction to law students in trial advocacy and oral argument skills. I also frequently attend a variety of continuing legal education classes to keep myself abreast of all changes, updates, and new trends in the law, so that I can most effectively represent my clients.
I am here to help you seek the payments that you are owed.
